A Domain Name is your identity on the web. Your presence on the web relies much on how corporate, professional or unique is your domain name and website. It is very important for you to register your name on the web before others do.

A corporate Domain Name can be in the following format:

1. Internatational (InterNIC) Domain Names

YourName.com ( .com ) - For Businesses
YourName.net ( .net ) - For Network-related Companies
YourName.org ( .org ) - For Organisations
YourName.info ( .info ) - For Information-related (new)
YourName.biz ( .biz ) - For Businesses (new)

Internic TLDs (Top Level Domain Names) can be purchased from us directly at US$14.50 (RM 55) per year. Advantage to Internic TLDs is that it is more International/Global and cheaper than other type of domain names. Disadvantage to Internic TLDs is that many good names have already been taken by early registrants.

2. Malaysia (MYNIC) Second Level Domain Names

YourName.net.my ( .net.my ) - Network-related Businesses
YourName.org.my ( .org.my ) - Organisations
YourName.edu.my ( .edu.my ) - Education Organanisations

MYNIC domain names can be purchased from us directly at RM 100 per year. Advantages to MYNIC domain names are that many of the names are still available and the domain names represent a business or organisation registered in Malaysia. Disadvantage to it is that the name is slightly more lengthy with the .my extension.

3. (.CN) Domain Names

With China's admittance into the World Trade Organization in December 2001, International companies have gained access to a large emerging market. As part of easing restrictions, the .CN domain is open to all International businesses and organizations on a first come, first-served basis. For the first time, International businesses are able to legitimize their presence and advance their penetration into the Chinese market using a .CN domain.

4. (.CC) Domain Names

The .CC domain name is the ccTLD for the Cocos (Keeling Islands), a territory of Australia. .CC is gaining popularity, with more than 400,000 domains registered in the first year alone. Some of the most recognized consumer brands such as Amazon, Intel and Coca Cola have already recognized the potential of .CC.

5. (.name.my) Domain Names

Personal domain names registration will be open to all Malaysians, aged 18 years and above, provided they furnish the relevant documents. It is also open to non-Malaysians aged 18 years and above, residing in Malaysia, provided they show proof of identity and residence. Persons under 18 years would be able to register for domain names under the care of their parents or guardians.

6. (.name) Domain Names

Global Name Registry (GNR) is the license operator of .name , the first and only global top-level domain (gTLD) for individuals, approved by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) in November 2000.
